Inspirational Speaker, Author, and Mom
Hello!
My name is Deb Hadley and I am honored that you want to know more about me. On a personal note, I live in beautiful Alexandria, Minnesota with my husband Scott and our dog Deuce. We have a blended family of his, hers, and ours. Kaylie is my daughter from my first marriage, Josh and Jessica are Scott’s children from his first marriage, and Tyler is our son together.
Life has not always been easy for us, but we have a beautiful blended family. Josh is married to Miranda and they have a son named Kyler (named after Kaylie and Tyler). Jessica is married to Jacob and they have four boys – Connor, the twins -Grant, Riley, and Patrick Ty. I can’t even begin to explain how blessed I am to have my step-children and their families. They keep me going every day! Kaylie took up residency in Heaven on June 5, 2013, and Tyler joined her just 9 months and two days later on March 7, 2014. Kaylie and Tyler may be gone physically from this world, but as a family, we honor their memory and legacy every single day of our lives. We know they are alive and well and that one day we will meet them again in Heaven. We also realize that life is short and we have to make the most of it while we are still here on this earth.
My whole life has changed since the kids have passed away. I am currently the Bereavement Manager for Knute Nelson Hospice, and I help people who have lost a loved one to be able to find joy in a world when so much is gone. I love talking about my faith and helping people find healing in our Lord. I graduated from the National Speakers Academy so I would have the tools to bring my message to the world – a message of hope. I am fortunate to be able to speak to faith-based organizations, as well as schools and other secular businesses. I can tailor my message to meet the needs of my audience, but I really am on fire when I can talk about how the Lord picked me up out of the darkness and brought me into the light. For that, I am forever grateful!
I long for Heaven every day and I cannot wait to see my kids again. However, I know the Lord has work for me to do on this earth, and I will spread His love to the very best of my ability! Even when I am speaking to a secular audience, I know that I am helping God’s children find HOPE in their world!
P.S. I also know that Kaylie and Tyler are pretty proud of their mom!
