Being in the group has given me confidence and helped me move forward, have a closer relationship with God, and meet some amazing friends.

I have begun to look at my loss differently and learning to live, enjoy my life, and make my spouse proud of me instead of just being miserable all the time! I have started going back to church and listening to His word! I feel stronger than I have felt in many years.

I came to this support group not knowing if I could survive another day. While the first few meetings were hard, which Deb and Denise warned us they would be, it quickly became my hope, my only hope. In 10 short weeks my heart healed more than it had in a year and a half. I believe I am in a better place today only because of the 10 special weeks and women I met through this group.

I came to this group expecting to learn some things, share my experiences, but went away with so much more. The group helped me to understand and open doors that I did not even know were there. I have been able to establish a group of friends who share my experiences and through that grow and heal. This has been invaluable to me.

For me being able to connect with others who have experienced the loss of a child is just what I needed. We have a common bond, we get each other even though our stories are each unique.

I would highly recommend attending a support group with Deb and Denise. They both are so kind, welcoming, genuine, and respectful. They have a lot of wisdom and experience to share that is comforting and healing to the broken hearted. It is nice to have support and encouragement from people who understand the impact of traumatic loss and walk along with you in your grief.
